Mark Meyer, Mound, displays the 3rd Place, .96-pound crappie he pulled out of Lafayette Bay on Lake Minnetonka during last Saturday's 2012 Lions Club Crappie Fishing Contest.  Meyer had just weighed his catch in a tent outside Maynard's restaurant in Excelsior.  The contest winner was Chad Carruthers, with a 1.13-pound lunker.
