    A few apples remain on the trees at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum's AppleHouse orchard in Chaska Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.  The facility and grounds provide and sell all the goods that a farmers market would carry.
    The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum's AppleHouse in Chaska is open and ready for customers as of Sept. 1, 2010.
    "Wait, don't shoot!"  Shadow, a three year old Powder Puff Chinese Crest holds his hands up while his owner, Diannah Roberstson, pretends to have a gun.  Shadow and Diannah were participating in the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum's 'All About Dogs Days' Saturday, April 23, in Chaska.

Powder, a puppy-mill reject, is now a trained stage performer and in training to become a therapy dog.  Robertson is a trainer at Petco in Burnsville.
