    Long Lake's SummerFest was partially marred by rain but that didn't stop about a dozen riders who left The Red Rooster Bar & Restaurant for an evening jaunt around the West Metro area Thursday, June 23, 2011.  The riders all sported beautifully crafted motorcycles for their abbreviated  rally.
    Baylee Poikonen, 10, and Zuzu the Yellow Lab, Mound, took second place in the Dog & Owner Lookalike Contest during Dog Days Westonka at Harbor District Park in Mound Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011.  The Lookalike Contest was one of eight scheduled events that included a Sleddog Seminar, a Cutest Puppy Contest and a nondenominational Animal Blessing in the grassy circle along the Andrews Sisters Trail.
