Kindergarten through fourth grade students learned about protecting this land from developers, thereby reducing the amount of polluted runoff entering lakes and streams and preserving habitats for fish and wildlife.
    Third grade students from HIlltop Primary School in Minnetrista move buckets of wood chips along a new trail on Minnehaha Creek Watershed District land Wednesday, April 27, in celebration of Earth Day.  MCWD staff joined representatives from Three Rivers Park District, Tree Trust, Urban Forestry Institute and the Westonka School District to learn about protecting this land from developers, thereby reducing the amount of polluted runoff entering lakes and streams and preserving habitats for fish and wildlife.
