The event, an ‘Ice Cream Social and Vehicle Fair,’ featured free ice cream cones and more than a dozen vehicles that children often see but don’t get to touch while supporting Orono schools early childhood programs.
    Two members of the musical group Crew 88, Manon Duchek, left, and Parker Roth, entertain families attending Orono Discovery Center's Ice Cream Social and Animal Fair Wednesday, Aug. 31, in Maple Plain.  The event was sponsored by the Orono Community Education and the Orono Early Childhood Education Programs.  The musical group, which has six members, covered Disney songs for the young families gathered in the school's cafeteria.
