    Experienced dog handler Janet Henning, Baribou, Wis., directs sheep as her Border Collie, Bob, drives them toward a pen during the Star of the North Stockdog Trials at Gale Woods Farm.  More than 30 Border Collies competed in open field trials, while visitors perused more than 20 fiber and local food vendors, enjoyed musical performances, watched world record sheep shearing holder Doug Rathke, enjoyed wagon rides, chef demonstrations and more at the West metro location.


Three days of sheep dog competition were just one part of the Three River Districts's seasonal 'Celebrate the Harvest' event Sunday, Oct. 7, in Minnetrista.
